Here Again

I've tried to convince myself several times to write again in this page but wasn't able to do it. So many things have happened, new things have been learned. From my new room, my first birthday here in Singapore, my pinoysg addiction and affiliation, my boring day job. Good topics to write about...

But why am I back on my page now???.. hmmmm...

I got a new place last Oct 8. Cool place(even without the AC). I usually spend time playing with Kate here and of course get my much needed nap. Just a nap 'coz i usually stay until morning playing NFS underground... haha.

Birthday!.. weee... me and my college buddies emptied 2L of vodka. We don't know anything to mix with it so there, we drank it on the rocks... alam nyo na kasunod... bangenge... hehehe... simple birthday with happy friends. quite a night...

ahhh... i still remember my birthday last 2006... fun fun fun and buckets of san mig lights... best birthday that i can remember...






Ok, enough of that memory... =D

PinoySg - a forum site of pinoys here in Singapore. I was just going through the pages at first but now i am playing volleyball with the members now... haha.. next basketball naman.. then billiards... I read posts from people of kinds. They discuss, brag, debate, piss off other members, and there are some who are called attention-whores... lol... good way to spend the day in the office though... (oooppppsss!!!!)... what did i just say???

alright... my day job is boring... haysss... (calling msgorgeous_crm... just a gentle reminder on my resumé... plsssss....)

Now.. you might be wondering why i'm back typing my thoughts here. The reason is - I AM COOKING BABY! wuhooo!!!..

I was very hungry one sunday and i don't know what to eat. Worst, i saw someone post in PinoySg that they have a pochero in their place... waaaaaaaaa.... burrrppp... there goes my stomach. darnnn it...

What I did, I took off with my EZ link card and went to sheng shiong(a supermarket here). I got myself fruits, rice, a couple of spices and vegetable oil, chicken drumsticks and fish.

I ask friends from PinoySg how to do the deep frying of the fish(prito in short) lol... ehh... deep fry daw eh. hahaha... so tadannn... i was able to cook and eat my first prito!!.. wuhoo!.. yari ang bahaw sa kusina... hahaha...

That was last week. This week... ehemmm... "Adobo"

First, I texted my sister how she do her adobo that i missed very badly. I also chatted with a friend all the way from Japan for other adobo cooking instructions.. hehehe... So, I got my sister's instructions and told my housemates about it. They told me that my sister's way of cooking adobo is more of an advance style already... so they suggested that i do the basic adobo first - "pagsabayin lahat2x".

So there... chicken, onions, garlic, soy sauce, konting salt and cook... then vinegar, taste test... uhhmmmm... "yan adobo na yan".. "talaga?".. "oo adobo na yan!"... "ayusss!!!"...





New friends, new interests when I landed here in the land of the puking half-fish-half-lion statue. Thats what good life is. *wink*


***A thing i've learned. Learning to love someone does not take a day or two. You may feel so in love talking to somebody for a while but might not be love after all. (What the hell do i know about love anyway).. hahaha.. Loser!
